ACT 2015

The Atlantic ConnecTions Conference  took place June 4-5, 2015 at Mount Allison University in Sackville New Brunswick.  The theme for the conference was ACT!   We explored what we can do to make a difference for women in SETT.

We aimed to:

    Act!
    Celebrate! Collaborate!
    Transform!

Women and their male colleagues in SETT from a cross-section of industries, education, government, and not-for-profit organizations from the Atlantic region gathered to share and learn from their experiences in education and workplaces.  Our guest speakers shared the latest thinking about what we can do to shift our systems to be more inclusive.  The format of the conference was Open Space Technology which allowed participants  to set the agenda and participate in discussions that were meaningful to them.

Together we documented the stories we shared and the opportunities we explored together in the reports linked below. Participants of the conference left with both inspiration and a compendium of ideas for action!
